One of the most recongnizable buildings in the U.S the white house was home to the second president of the state. President John Adams was the first president to have lived in the white house. Other presidents after John Adams including John Adams himself had certain complaints about the white house and had alterations, reconstruction, remodeling, expansions, and other things done to it, but President Theodore Roosevelt was the one to have named the building that we now know of as The White House. The White house can be found on pennyslvania ave NW.
